since you've hosted, please consider doing so. Refreshments don't have to be
elaborate to be appreciated. You can sign
up online for any open date, from now through December or on the sign up
sheet outside of the Parish Hall.

I have been in conversation with a few parishioners
about reinstating a Healing Prayer service at Emmanuel.
So far we all seem to agree we would definitely like to have it return. The
question is when, what time and in what form? We need to reach a
consensus! Please email

we shall start within the next month.

Donations of canned and dry goods
are taken to the Roslindale Food Bank every week. Please bring them in any Sunday
and leave them in the church entry way.

Emmanuel has been fortunate to have an active laity willing to step forward in
their service to God. We're currently seeking to expand the number
of parishioners interested in being trained to become Lay Eucharist Ministers,
Chalice Bearers, or Crucifers/Acolytes for worship. Please see or e-mail
